REFRESHER COURSE              Class Size: 4 to 10 students           Cost: $15

Are you a returning member? Feeling rusty? Want to meet other sailors? Have you forgotten some of the details of rigging? How about knots? Where are all the parts stored? How should you trim your sails to go faster?

We are offering a quick, affordable and social way of reviewing rigging details for all the boats (Flying Juniors, Vanguard 15s and Lasers) and getting out on the water for some pointers.  This mini-course will be taught by an experienced sailing instructor who can answer any sailing questions and offer tips.  Get refreshed on all the details like where the parts are kept, how to rig different boats, launching from the beach, sail trim, etc.

To get some sailing tips, an additional Wet Refresher is offered (free of charge) the week following the land portion. For the first four refresher courses (Early Refresher - Refresher C) the Wet Refresher will be held on Saturday afternoon for 1 hour.  Please arrive at 5:00 PM sharp to rig a boat on your own, and be completely ready to sail at 5:30 PM sharp. The following Wet Refreshers (D - H) will be held on Thursdays for 1 hour after office hours. Arrive at 6:30 or 7:00 PM to rig a boat on your own, and be completely ready to sail at 7:30 PM sharp when Office Hours end.  

You'll meet people who enjoy sailing, learn a little, and relax with your classmates on the patio afterwards, enjoying a pint as the sun goes down.

Instruction Hours
3 hours, each class is one evening only, 6 PM to 9 PM.

Optional: 1 hour on the water, either Saturday 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM or Thursday 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
