Kayak rescues refresher with Lucy

Get ready to remember your rescue techniques!

Did you do your kayak certification some time ago, but not sure you remember how to do self- or assisted-rescue? Or just want to practice in a controlled environment?

This evening will include some review of the rescues you learned during your beginner kayak course and then work through more advanced rescue techniques, or any other skills refreshment that participants would like to work on.

Prerequisites:
- registered as a JSCA member for the current season
- registered as a UBC Sailing Club member for the current season
- previously passed a Kayaking course or proficiency exam in our club
- wetsuit or drysuit, booties/shoes...and any gear you require to not get cold in/on the water

Location: meet up at the picnic tables in front of the JSCA corner office, changed, with your kayak gear, your kayak signed out.
